The time is just right for starting a venture

Consider yourself lucky to be in India at just the right time. With the fastest growing middle class in the world, the consumer markets are set to explode in the coming years. The opportunities for business innovation and the prospects for success are immense. A healthy VC and PE circuit, networking events, B-Plan competitions and other such avenues are helping create a vibrant community for entrepreneurship in India. This only means that the time is just right to innovate, start businesses, create employment, wealth and long-term value.

That’s just one part of the story

The Trade Tower is a multi-level process, where progress through each level represents passage through an increasingly rigorous but equally important startup incubation process. In the initial levels, students will be given opportunities to test and refine their ideas through a vetting process overseen by faculty, external mentors and fellow students. Those that qualify through this process will be subjected to further scrutiny by senior levels of Woxsen stakeholders. Finally, the ones that successfully pass through all the stages will have the opportunity to seek funding from members of Woxsen Fund, an investment corpus.

The Woxsen Trade Tower: A hope for dreamers like you

Preparatory lab, launchpad, springboard - there are many words to describe the Woxsen Trade Tower. We’d like to call it an incubator where your business ideas are primed to create long-term impact. Established with an objective of helping you create wealth, value and employment, the Trade Tower will give you access to space, intellectual resources, coaching, mentorship, and more importantly, access to funding once your idea meets certain qualifying criteria. The incubation center is part of a larger vision of the Woxsen School of Business to support entrepreneurial thinking and action. It is among the first steps in the country towards developing sustainable university-industry innovation clusters.

How does the curriculum impact entry to the Trade Tower?

The Woxsen curriculum follows an integrated approach to learning. While the classroom sessions expose you to the fundamentals of entrepreneurial thinking, the Trade Tower enables you to apply the learning in practice. The intensity of the curriculum further prepares you to negotiate the evaluation process of the Trade Tower through the stages.
